The History Chops Lickin'

As you know I love playing around with my camera, but what you may not know is when my friend Lucas and I get together our camera creativeness goes wild. We have continued our traditional photo shoots for 3 years now. They somehow got the name of "Chops Lickin" and they usually take place in January. It's just Lucas, a bar stool, a camera, and myself. (We sit the camera on the bar stool).
Anyways! I felt the need to share a pic from each year. It's cool to see how we change in looks...
Chops Lickin' 1.0
Theme: Fresh New Year
This was taken New Years Day 2009 in a field somewhere in Palmetto, Fl. Lucas forced me to stand in this field (I don't trust Florida's grassy areas).

Chops Lickin' 2.0
Theme: Dr. Suess
Created in January 2010 on a nature trail alongside of the Braden River.
I gave Lucas his shirt for Christmas which inspired the Cat in The Hat and Thing 1/2.

Chops Lickin' 3.0
Theme: Broken Electronics
We took this picture in January (2011).  Spotted this location by my mom's salon after Lucas got a hair cut. The ironic part of this day is that my camera got smashed just like the TVs. (My camera is fixed now). We also tried to recreate the picture from the first shoot ^^^.

Bay Magazine

In January I had a shoot at Emerson Point in Palmetto, Fl for the February issue of Bay Magazine.
When I was younger I went to Emerson Point all the time for picnics, fishing, field trips, and nature walks. I like these pictures so much because I got to shoot in a place I have so many good memories at.

In Da Kitchen

Baking! I love it, but lately haven't had the time between online college and work....
Last night I made a red velvet with cream cheese icing cake, it's getting great reviews from its eaters so far!
For the cake:
Duncan Hines Red Velvet Cake Mix

For the icing:
8 oz. of cream cheese
4 cups of powdered sugar
1/2 stick of butter
( teaspoon of vanilla if I had some)
For the color:
4 drops of blue food coloring
2 drops of green food coloring

XOXOXOXOXO

Martha Rey USA

Yesterday I had such a good time at the campaign shoot for Martha Rey USA Fall collection.

Martha styled each outfit of the shoot personally... How great are those camouflage/giraffe tights?

This dress totally made me feel like I was going to a Miami Dolphins game in the 70's... I was loving the cape on it too. All of Martha's tights are hand dyed, probably the most different colors I have ever worn!

Can't wait to see the lookbook! All photos were taken on others phones at the shoot.

I made a very very short video of what the day looked like... Enjoy!

Jerry & Jody

So I have always loved this song and the music video because the characters look just like my parents did when they started dating. (Or what I would imagine they looked like).
I had some old pictures of the two of them that are soooo cute and I think you will agree.
 My mom's motorcycle

 My dad, so parkour.

My dad can fix anything, of course my mom would find this dreamy.

So classy

I can't get enough of my mom's style.

They are still so cute!

extra extra!

Earlier this week I was an extra in a commercial for a Germany clothing store C&A...
I really wasn't doing as much as this picture shows I am. I spent most of my time being patient for scenes....

The commercial was created to look like it is from the 50's. Melanie and I were hired for the part of the 'bikini girls.' I think I heard the song "yellow polka dot bikini" atleast 15 times during the filming.
(& I'm still not tired of it!)

This is what I was doing over 75% of the time....
All pictures were captured by Kathrin (girl in white tank top). Thanks!
So if any of my bloggers are in Germany soon, watch for the commercial!

In January I finally accomplished one of my modeling job dreams! I had a shoot for Seventeen Magazine! I hope to have 2 beauty looks in their May addition...
Here is a pic of the styling for my first look.
-Chanel nail polish (looked like robin's egg in person).
-Teal and red accessories (my favorite color duo).

Hannah S.

Today I received a phone call from Cami and Shannon basically telling me I need to blog more about my life... They were right! So thank you for that phone call girls!

I recently had a shoot for Hannah S. party dresses! So much fun, lots of sparkles, curls, and bright lights.

This is my friend Britt, she is also with Next. We have the same hairstyle normally
(straight blond hair with bangs). So I never imagined us doing the same job together!

Clips: the secret to making things look like they fit in pictures.... the public needs to know!!

I wish I had a reason to get this dressed up, but I don't....
Anyways, the pictures from this shoot should hopefully be out in early fall in the Hannah S. catalog and in all those fun prom magazines. Can't wait!
