Women's Running Magazine

I just ran over to Booksamillion to find March's issue of Women's Running Magazine!

I had such a fun day shooting this spread!

Jeanne from ENNA|ANNE did my makeup and hair 

(she's the Michelangelo of that kind of stuff)

Sal And Jen Sal Brancifort from Myunionhouse were the photographers

(they are adorable and have a great eye)

Allison Pattillo directed the shoot and story line

Chris Schortgen my boyfriend was studio help and the motivating crowd

Cami's 25th

My sister Cami turned 25! 

Let me name a few of her favorite things:

-Sunsets on the beach

-Eating sushi and edamame

- Getting dressed up

Sooo, a group of us got together and made that happen with the help of Cork&Copper.

Here are some pictures I took of the night!

I made strawberry cupcakes and we ate off of banana leaves I cut from my backyard. 

(I can't take the credit for that great idea. C&C)

 The decor was Florida styled with a tablecloth of Florida, seashells, and other old Florida touches.

 We set up the table in a not so busy corner of the beach.

Quite the atmosphere, right?

The sunset went down fast, so we had lots of candles to set the mood.

 Cupcakes and Daniel & Molly's homemade strawberry ice cream for desert!

The candles are from the cake section in Publix!

My Hammock

 I found this awesome hammock at Ross for $11! 

I actually was torn about it in the store. I picked it up and set it down a few times.

I wanted a hammock, but I couldn't think of an actual spot around my house where it would fit...

But I bought it anyways!

 My handyman of a dad didn't hesitate to find a sweet spot to hang the hammock. We had it up and reliable in about 15 minutes!

My parents work really hard on making the backyard look this cool.

My hammock fits right in.

Test Shoot with Sal & Jen

 Started with light make-up and an organized strand of pearls.. 

 

Instantly transformed into an edgy girl with dark make-up and a bit of tugging on the pearls.

This was a test shoot I had with Sal and Jen Brancifort. They are a fun married couple that are both awesome photographers! You can see more of their work here!
