what's my name?

While searching through my storage bins these past days
I found a collection of necklaces with my name on them!
5 Necklaces!!
You may notice something different about the silver necklace....
With such a unique spelling to my name I was often given gifts with my name spelled incorrectly.
& I was never really offended?

Still today I get called 'Ashley' 3 or 4 times daily....
My Starbucks drinks have never had anything close to my real name....
& restaurants that call out my name for my order are always something interesting.

I am sure all you out there with uniquely spelled names can share my identity pain.

PS!!! I received a 100% on my project in the  post below!

Blingin Ballerina

I'm wearing Essie 'Boat House' & Gold polish from S. Korea on my nails.
Today I went through boxes of my belongings where I found this little jewelry box ballerina along with a bunch of other treasures.

It's really making me think when I was younger....

why did I have friends
or
why I didn't have more friends?

Saddest Love Story of South Florida

My parents have been wanting to go to this Coral Castle in Homestead for a while now. So one weekend when they came to visit me in Miami we went....
What makes this castle made out of coral so amazing is that it was all built by a tiny little man named Ed. His reason for making it?
He was engaged to his lover, Agnes, who was 10 years younger than him. She broke it off a day before their wedding. Ed was so heart broken he built this castle for 10 years to show his love for her.
She never saw this castle built for her!!
He made a table in the shape of a heart!! Poor Ed!

There was a ton of seating in the castle.
My favorite thing in the castle was this table in the shape of Florida.

Ed was really into the stars and planets.

I have always had a fascination for lizards and I thought this guy was extra cool.

The lounge chairs.

This concludes my little trip to the coral castle! Enjoy!

Messin with Texas!

That's right! I made my way over to Dallas, Texas for a few days! I have never been there, but it was always high on my checklist of places to visit.

I always have an attraction for places that wave their flags with pride. The Texas state flag compliments the American flag so nicely.

I went to Dallas for JcPenny. Mirror shots are the best, and they have a pretty cool bathroom at their studio. This day I wore to work a Levi's sweatshirt, Gina Tricot acid wash jeans, with my sandals and bag from Urban Outfitters.

This is the beautiful skyline of Dallas from my room. If it wasn't for my favorite Texans I wouldn't get to experience this super cool city.

This is Amy and Wade, as you can see by chair they know the best places to go in Dallas.
I have always heard that people from Texas are the nicest and these two are the definition of that!
Thanks for the great tour in the Escalade, dinners, and Roxy wardrobe.

I love bed jumping at hotels and I am not afraid to admit it!
